I woke up this morning to the sound of...

Post by my3sons » Thu Apr 21, 2011 9:22 am

... my oldest ds leading my 4 yo ds in a Bible Quiet Time! :D :D :D They share a room, and my oldest ds has been doing his own HOD Bible Quiet Time for 3 years now. We finished school just a week ago, and both my oldest ds and middle ds have been doing their own Bible quiet times each morning before rising. While doing my own Bible quiet time down the hall, I heard Wyatt reading a Bible story to Emmett, discussing it with him, and praying with him. It brought tears to my eyes! Wyatt said, "Did you know God is everywhere? I know that's hard to understand, but He's right here, right now, with us, even though we can't see Him. He's in this very room!" There was a pause, as I guess Emmett must have been mulling that over. Then I heard Emmett say in a whisper of awe, "AND, He's up in the sky too!" It just really did my heart wonders to hear that. Then the Christian radio music came on, and they were singing along. Thanks HOD - for helping my dc have intact a habit I've worked long and hard as an adult to have! :D

Oh, Wow, How Beautiful! :D I woke up this morning with a sick one, and that just lifted me up and encouraged me so much. Thanks, Julie, for sharing that! Don't worry, the tears are happy ones. LOL. :)

Wow Julie, that is SUCH a blessing!

Only having one child, I won't get to experience that exactly, but when she was younger, she used to "do Sunday School" with her stuffed animals. It was so cute! :)

Thanks so much for sharing in my joy here, ladies! :D These are the moments to remember, and I've found taking note of them and placing them in that special memory bank helps me through the moments that are better to forget. May the Lord continue to do a good work in our dc's hearts! :D
