Just back from the Midwest Convention

I was able to go to the convention today and spent quite a bit of time talking to Julie and Carrie. Once again I am just so thankful that God brought me to HOD. They were so helpful as I asked them questions pertaining to Noah and RTR. I feel at total peace now with him doing RTR next year. I was worried about how he would do with the Medieval based writing lessons, but after talking to Julie I am actually excited about it and think it will be a good fit for him. I was able to bring home most of the RTR package and the minute I walked in the door my ds wanted to look at all the books. He was sooooo excited about it all. Since he is so familiar now with the guides he went to that and started checking out the projects and how the boxes are set up.
He then was so cute. He is going with me tomorrow and he says "Will they still be there tomorrow?" I told him yes and he made me promise I would take him by so he could tell them hello.

Isn't it exciting, and downright amazing that a pre-teen BOY would be enthused about school! I love HOD!

It was wonderful to see you at convention! We enjoyed seeing your sweet son and daughter, as well as your hubby too. I'm glad that your son was delighted with his new books! We pray that RTR will be a blessing to your family!
