Writing question

Can someone direct me to any threads pertaining to the long-term plan for writing instruction in HOD? My oldest is 11, currently in Preparing. Writing instruction is my ONLY concern about HOD (and not a huge one), but I feel that writing is pretty much the most important skill my kids need to be trained in, and I want to know what's down the line for them in this regard. I am even considering doing Classical Conversation's afternoon writing and grammar program, just to make sure this area is covered well, but don't want to spend unnecessary time or money if I don't have to. Thanks.

Carrie recently wrote a thoughtful and thorough response in this thread viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8731&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a which I am sure you will find helpful Honestly I am so blessed by Carrie-I believe the Lord has given her the gift of "seeing-the-big-picture-and-forgetting-nothing" I don't know if there are any threads that cover what she has planned or is planning beyond the current guides, but I am confident she will continue to hit writing in excellent ways.
