Readers for the Sensitive Child

Post by Daph » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:18 pm

I'm going through the list of readers in the Girl's Interest for DITHOR. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if any of these might be too much for a very sensitive child. My dd8 scares easily and gets upset easily. I just want to make sure the selections won't be too much for her before I buy the books in the list. :) Thank you again! (I apologize for the multiple posts!)

Also, we read 'A Little Princess' this year. Is there anything that we can substitute for it? Would any realistic-fiction be fine?

Are you looking at DITHOR or Bigger Storytime? Sorry, I'm a little confused.

Oops, that's my fault. The different sections that everything is in confuse me. LOL I'm looking at DITHOR. I see where there's a Classical section, so I'll substitute 'The Little Princess' with that choice. My first question still stands. :D

I think you might be confused. The storytime selections found on the Bigger package page are for you to read aloud with your child. You can mix and match from any category. Classic, boy interest, and girl interest. The DITHOR books(to be read by your child) are found under DITHOR and then click on the book packs for the level you want 2, 3, 4/5.
