My two dc did their DITHOR project for nonfiction on Saturday. They had to read the same nonfiction book and each choose three facts to display for a "museum." They were working so hard on it all week that I decided to invite some family and friends to come and see the museum displays as well. This led to a big production, where the kiddos decided to make tickets, signs, maps, flyers and serve lunch. They called their museum "Down on the Farm." We then decided to collect donations to be given to ministries and the dc made lunch tickets for $1 to be purchased. They had so much fun preparing and setting everything up for the Grand Opening!

I only helped a little and left it all up to them.
I was amazed at the results!! I wasn't allowed to "enter" the museum early, so I had to wait like the others

They did such a wonderful job displaying their exhibits!

They used multiple rooms and lots of creativity. I was so proud of them!

One of the best parts was seeing, hearing and watching them work together all week. There was such unity. It blessed me so much.
The other thing that blessed me, was the generosity of everyone to give!! We had 3 families and two singles come and collected $107!!

Wow!

Many of the children went through their piggy banks and gave freely on their own.

After hearing from Tina about the need in Iran, we were able to purchase 30 bibles for the Iranian christians!

The dc were so excited!
I love the way the dc's hearts are so touched through school projects! Thank you so much Mike and Carrie for all you do. You will share in the honor of providing the Word of God to those in Iran!!

Be blessed!!!
