ANSWERED PRAYER!

Post by joyfulheart » Mon Mar 31, 2008 8:50 am

Oh, my! I'm sooo thankful to God! I have to share!

My son is in 2nd grade in Public school, but has learning disabilities. The school put him on the A B Honor roll, yet he is in the 2nd percentile for reading IN THE STATE!

I've been praying and praying for the ability to bring him home and teach him. Out of faith, I started collecting curriculum (HOD of course!), books, and everything we'd need. Everything is ready. I have it all sitting here.

First, DH said it would be a good idea to homeschool for the summer, to get him caught up (as much as possible).

Lastnight, DH said we needed to homeschool for the next several years.
His only request was that we finish out the last two months at public school.

He's been SOOOO anti- homeschooling, that this really IS a miracle!

I'm sooo excited! :D :D :D :D I can't wait!

joyfulheart,

I am just so happy for you!! I know what it's like to have a reluctant hubby; mine was in the beginning....it's wonderful that he is now on board with homeschooling. God is so faithful to his children! I know you will be blessed as a family by the change. Let us know about any more progress, and how it goes when you begin. :)

I also know what it's like to have a reluctant hubby - God works everything for His glory in His time. I believe He will do that for you! Praise the Lord, and may He continue to open doors for you!

That is so great! It really helps to have full support from your husband. Some days are hard and it helps that they are hanging in their with you. I am sure you are very excited and can not wait for the next two months to come to a end.
