This past week we've had a terrible sickness around here with everyone sick and running fevers. Right before this, my dc and I picked out our Storytime books for Bigger next year. It was so fun. Some of them are already on our shelves, one being Misty of Chincoteague. Anyway, these books plus some extension pack books have been spread all around the living room. I was just too sick to pick them up. Anyway, the day my dd's fever broke she picked up "Misty" and asked me to read it. I told her we were going to read it next year when we did Bigger. She sat there looking at it for a long time and I asked her what she was doing. She said I'm reading this book. I told her she may not want to do that because we were still reading it next year and she may not want to hear it again. She assured me she would want to hear it again because it was about horses. Anyway, hours later she finished the book (she's only 6), she came and told me she was finished and said, "Momma, I just couldn't wait a whole year."

I guess I need to lock up some books like I've read some of you other ladies do.
