I was reading on the board in some thread where someone (my3sons, I think) was talking about how much she loves the Bible study portions of HOD. She said something like this: that the time that she has one-on-one with her boys with Bible study is a precious time for them to share their faith.
At first I felt a little sad
, because since I'm combining my oldest two in Beyond, we weren't getting that one-on-one Bible study. Then it occurred to me! 
Why don't I just save those questions in the Bible Study box for when I meet with each child individually for reading! 
I'm so happy to have stumbled upon this. We've only been doing it for a few days, but I'm finding that they are more open and thoughtful about their answers when it's just the two of us. We still do the memorizing and physical activity part all together.Maybe many of you already do this, but I just wanted to mention it as an option in case it might be helpful for someone. It's my goal to really reach the hearts of my children (hence my username), and this may be one way to work on that goal.
