Does anyone use all the book packs?

Post by jer2911mom » Sun Jan 30, 2011 10:21 pm

How feasible is it to use all the book packs available for a level? How do you do this? I really like the titles across all three options and would like to use them all rather than pick one set or mix and match across sets. Does anyone do this?

Thanks,
Kathy

We use one set for the storytime box in the guide, but I read a lot of the other books to my son for reading time that we do outside of school. That works well for us.

Yep, outisde of school reading like bedtime stories or oldest reading to the youngest. They're all such great choices!

I print off a list of all 3 book packs and we pick and choose across the sets to use with the guide, but the rest are all read for leisure reading. They are just too good to not be read!
I've done all the guides now with at least one child and still feeling the HOD LOVE. LOL!

We'll be purchasing all of the book packs as well. My kids LOVE to be read to and we always read more than is scheduled. There are also breaks and summer time. :D

My goal is to read at least two from each genre. So far, it's working well!

I think we've managed to include most of the books either in Storytime, bedtime reading, DITHOR, or free reading. If we don't get to one this year, we'll get to it next year. They are such great books, that we'll read them all eventually! :D
