An unexpected praise report----CtC!!!

Ladies,

I will make this short and sweet......On Day 1 of CtC, my dd10 came running through the house to find me after doing all of her history assignments. She had just finished listening to Diana Waring. She said, "Mom, Mom, Mom!!!! I LOOVE this!! I love history!!!! It is my new favorite subject, Mom!! I can't believe it because I HATE history!!!! Yeeeeaaahhh!!!"

This is the child that truly has hated history. I have tried so many approaches since we have been homeschooling. Yesterday she mentioned that she can't wait until the next history assignment!!!!

I have always wanted all of my children to have the same passion for history that I do......I think CtC is the beginning of that for my daughter!!

My ds13 LOVES the Diana Waring audios...and is so glad to be back to them with RTR. I never knew how much he enjoyed them until today when he mentioned how interesting she is. Happy that your daughter has finally found something that engages her.

Yay for your dd! Yay for history! Yay for CTC!!!

We finished unit 2 of CTC today and almost every day my ds has come to me before his check-in with mom time dying to tell me something he read or heard! I am loving it!

That's so great to hear! Can't wait til my kiddos are in CTC. They already love the history they've been doing with HOD but the student pages look so fun!!!

I am celebrating your daughter's independence and her enthusiasm with CTC! My 6th grader loved CTC last year and is loving RTR this year too. He has grown so much in so many ways! We pray CTC will be a blessing to your family this year.
