Narration ?

Post by tnahid » Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:57 am

Question:

I am hearing a lot about narration. Are we supposed to be doing this in Beyond? After every history lesson? Curious, because I haven't been doing that.

Hi,

You only need to narrate when the instructions in each box indicates for your kids to do so. It is kind of a gradual skill that kids learn over time. the amount of narration increases in each guide.

Hope this helps,

We are doing Beyond as well. There's not technically narration with the history, but there are history questions in the text of Stories of the Pilgrims. I ask my dc these questions. The narration the seems most consistent with Beyond is found in the Storytime plans. It has you narrating a lot. HTH!!!
