HOD/Little Hearts Praise!

I started this with my 5 year old daughter in September. She has been THRILLED to do it each day and I'm loving it too!

I didn't realize how much she liked it until today. We are leaving on Sunday for a two week vacation to Mexico. I told her to start thinking about what she wanted to pack as far as books and toys. She immediately ran to the shelves in our school area and said "We have to take alllll of this stuff. I don't want to miss any school fun!" I explained that it's okay to take a vacation and she was actually disappointed. We've decided to take The Reading Lesson, some math worksheets that I will print from Math U See and a lot of books to just read.

How wonderful that she ran to get her school books! I am so happy you both are enjoying it so much. We have many fond memories of our time in LHFHG.

School has become one big long happy vacation! That's a homeschool mom's dream for her dc to say that. LHFHG is a wonderful curriculum, but hats off to you too for having a cheerful attitude to teaching your dd! That makes such a difference, and you deserve some credit for it. Enjoy your vacation!

What a wonderful story, thanks for sharing! We thoroughly enjoyed Little Hearts last year and I'm looking forward to doing it again next year with my youngest son. HOD is the best!
