Hey there,
Just wondering if there are any of you in my little corner of the world! If so, wondering what homeschool group you belong to (wondering if it is the same one as me)!
I will check back on this in a few days.
I had the opportunity to speak with Carrie on the phone regarding DITHOR. She was sooo helpful and kind!! She is a pleasure to speak with if you ever get the opportunity!! I hope Heart of Dakota is at my homeschool conference in April of 2011.
thanks,
Liz

Hi Liz!
I'm not in KC...but I am in Northeast Kansas.

We're about 2 hours from Kansas City. I would sure think that there are other HODies in KC. The HOD booth was really busy the last 2 years Carrie & Julie were there for the conference.
And, I agree, I'm REALLY hoping HOD is at the conference in April! (I've been thinking sending Mike some homemade apple pie would be a good bribe... Haven't figured out how to send it yet...

)

We're also in Kansas, though not KC. About 2 hrs. South of there. Using HOD for the first time this year (after ps for the past 2 yrs.) and so thankful for God leading us to this curriculum! Do you happen to know the exact dates and locations of the Convention in April?

Carrie has stated until their family is seriously grown up more, they aren't planing on doing tooooo many Conferences. So as to keep home life and schooling as normal as possible. Since she is also writing guides as well... eeep she is like super woman... well sort of

Hi Liz!
We're in the KC area, we actually live in Blue Springs. We belong to the Lee's Summit Home Educators group. What HOD programs are y'all doing?

Hi Christie!
We live in Lee's Summit and are doing Preparing Hearts (taking a break right now) and getting ready to begin Little Hearts soon. Our kiddos are dd10, ds8, ds4, ds 22mos. We also have 1 girl and 3 boys!!
I am getting ready to join LSHE! I have been to 2 of their meetings so far. I still feel like I am wet behing the ears with Hschooling (we've been at it for about 1.5 years).
Maybe I will see you at an event soon!!
Thanks,
Liz Frasier

Liz,
Bless your heart! I'm so glad I was able to visit with you!

We're still pondering our upcoming convention schedule.
Blessings,
Carrie
