I am thinking about using this for my boys for their reading programs. I will have one in the 4/5 level and one in the 6/7/8 level. So, I would need to purchase the TG and both student books, right?

Do I purchase new student books each yr?

Can you tell me more about the Corresponding Project books? Will the 4/5 book be in print again at any point? What is the difference between the 4/5 one and the 6/7/8 one? Can you tell me more about them? Would these need to be purchased every yr, too?

Thank you!!! (The book list is a given!)

The way I understand things is that you can photocopy the student books for each family member and only have to purchase one of them.

I can't compare the two student levels for you. But just wanted to say you need the Teacher version for all levels and then the student manuals are reproducible within the family but you need to purchase the level that fits each child, unless of course they are on the same student book level, then you can make copies for multiple students. :D

Hopefully someone else can compare 4/5 level to the 6/7/8 level and tell you about the project books. :)

Kerby,

Yes, the Student Books are reproducible. The project books are also reproducible. The project book for level 4/5 is still out of print and looks as if it will remain so. You could easily use the project book from level 6/7/8 for the 4/5 students as well.

My boys all love the project book options as they love to create. If your kiddos aren't crafty you can do without the project books.

Blessings,
Carrie
