LHFHG Level Question

Post by Marcee » Wed Aug 25, 2010 11:47 am

I see there are options for choosing K or 1 materials in LHFHG. Can you use a combo of both with this level?

I don't see why not. :) I think that is why Carrie set up the packages to be interchangable. A child can be 1st in math and K level in reading... So yeah, I would think you could pick.

My dd is in 1st grade. We are using the 1st grade thinking skill book. But, I decided to put her in the Earlybird K math, simply because there are skills there that she needs to learn. If she finishes the K Math before LHFHG, we will go right into 1st grade math. I already have the Beyond guide for the activities. HTH

Yes, you can easily customize LHFHG for your sweeties by choosing different K or 1 options for each subject area. This flexibility of choosing different things based on each of my dc's needs is one of my very favorite things about HOD. Have fun choosing! :D
