Ahh loving the BHFHG!

Well I sent off my eldest to her school this morning and sat down with my youngest to do Our Homeschool school.
We loved each and every minute of it! We even added Chinese back into the schedule.
We started at 8:30 and she finished her seat work at 11:30. At which point she pestered me and pestered me cause its Monday her play date day.
So I made sure her friend was finished with her school work and Shipped her off.
blessed quiet!

I know it was hard on her to see big sister get new clothing (uniforms) and way more supplies than I would ever use in a school year! But when we finished today she looked at me and said "When is big sister going to come home to play?" I said "Not for 4 more hours" Then she looked at me and grinned and said "I love being Homeschooled!, can I go to My friends house now?"

Bigger... is a great guide...I'm looking forward to using it again next year when my ds 7 gets there. I've never homeschooled just one, but I have to imagine it is so wonderful in so many ways! Glad you had an awesome first day.

Tansy - I'm so glad you had an awesome first day! Your little sweetie sounds precious. I'll be starting up Bigger Hearts again in about a week - this time full-speed. I can't wait!
