I just placed my order!!

Post by Kelly » Thu Mar 13, 2008 5:04 pm

Well, I just placed my order!!! I feel nervous; I have spent so much money on curriculum in the past that I have not completed....
But, I have a feeling HOD will be different, not overwhelming.
I'd better go. My youngest (3) is holding a book in my face saying "Please come on mom, read it to me. I'm counting on you!, I'm counting on you!!!" How can I resist that? :D

You are right it is different. You will use it all! Promise. You'll use it all and love it all. 8) The stuff on the shelf making you feel guilty days are over! :D

W2W,
Stuff on the shelf making me feel guilty is right!!!!
I prayed about what to buy, took the plunge, and ,this is a miracle, I have decided to not even go to our local homeschool convention at our church!! My husband doesn't believe me; he thinks I am not going to be able to resist! They have so much used stuff for good prices and a lot of free stuff too. I learned last year that having too much is as bad as not enough! I spent tons of money and some of the things I haven't even used. So, I have determined to STAY AWAY this year!!!! I have a weakness for books.
I am excited about getting my order and looking it over!

What you said is so true, Kelly! This is going to be an exciting change - I'm sure of it! Please share your box day, and your first week with us - it's becoming a tradition of celebration here at HOD!

Kelly,

HOORAY! I am excited for you! :D We'll be praying that HOD will be what your family needs and will help point your children toward the Lord on your homeschool journey.

Blessings,
Carrie
