"Bigger" History notebooking

Post by holyhart » Tue Aug 17, 2010 12:53 pm

I've been doing search after search after search and I'm not finding the answer to my question. If it's out there and I missed it, I appologize in advance, but thank you for your help just the same.

Anyway, my question is this: What are the history notebooking pages to look like? Is it just for writting (therefore only needing some lined paper), just for drawing a picture (needing just sketch paper) or writting AND drawing (needing both blank space as well as lined space)? Oy! Did that make sense?

And I guess while I'm asking, what about geography and artistic expression? Will those pages go into the "history" notebook?

I *think* I have all the other notebooks figured out, as well as file boxes for vocab/bible study (actually for the bible study I used Kathleen's idea about using a small $1 plastic photo album).

Again thank you for your help! :D

We almost always just used unlined computer paper. I'm pretty sure it says in the box "On an unlined piece of white paper..." or "On a lined piece of paper..." and we just followed those directions. Some moms choose to use one of those notebooks with the top open and bottom lined, and that's totally fine. But we just used whatever the box said for the day and it worked great, too. Usually there is a verse or title to put on the page, but Grant did fine writing it without lines. (It wasn't perfectly straight...but that's ok.)

So as long as I have some lined paper and some unlined computer paper around, we should be fine for the history pages? There is no specific page set up like on the science exploration pages?

P.S. When are you having that baby Kathleen? I am SO hoping that the contractions and pressure I am feeling today mean I get to meet this little guy TODAY!!! (I'm sure my family is too, as the hormones have been making me crazy irritable the last couple of days...I'm not even liking to be around myself! ) I have an appt. today with my midwife and I guess I'll find out then. Praying for you and your little bean.
