Does anyone combine MUS and Singapore?
Also, what will be scheduled in the later HOD books?

I combined cusinare rods with Singapore. It really helped, but once I got the MUS stuff I just switched. My dd needs to really grasp a concept before moving on. And Singapore books just bring out rebellion so I'm following the advice "Parents don't provoke your children. "
I don't see any reason to combine the 2 programs hey are both complete stand alone products

Marsha,
I'm sure the other ladies will chime in to let you know if they combine Math-U-See and Singapore. But, I can address the question (somewhat) about what will be scheduled in the upper HOD guides.
At this point we will use Singapore through 5A (and possibly 5B) for sure. At the 6A/6B level, we are still weighing how much teacher time is required to explain and interpret lessons and whether a switch to a different program may be easier at that point. The good news is that a foundation in Singapore Math through 5A will make it easy to switch to just about any math program out there, due to the skill coverage and mental math problem-solving.
I know that doesn't completely answer your question, but we are still processing it ourselves!
Blessings,
Carrie
