Bigger 4th grade- spelling list or dictation?
Bigger 4th grade- spelling list or dictation?
My 4th grader has really poor spelling. Should I try maybe doing a list a day, like a pretest and when we gather up several words, spend a week on them and then repeat? Or should we just jump into dictation?

I would start at the lists. If they are too easy, you can start studied dictation. Another idea that I have seen others do is go through the list of spelling words at a faster pace. The beauty is that either choice won't be wrong since you can make adjustments to meet your daughter's needs.
