Science in CTC

Post by DHT1999 » Fri Jul 09, 2010 8:19 am

Hi! I have seen Biology 101 recommended as an addition to CTC for older students. I'm not sure what resource is being referred to in these threads. I am wondering if this is it: http://www.christianbook.com/biology-ac ... ew=details

If not, can someone tell me what Biology 101 is?

I will probably be doing CTC with a 7th grader so I know I will need to add to the science some.

Thanks for any help!

Donna,

Yes, that's the one we have mentioned on the board. :D This past post may also be of help to you as you ponder CTC's science for an older student:

Thank you, Carrie! I wasn't sure. I saw it in a CBD catalog and thought that must be it. I am relieved. It looks like a simple, stream-lined way to add to the life science in CtC.

Blessings!

I think so too! I think deltagal is using it, or parts of it, with her older kiddos in CTC to extend the level of the science. She may be able to tell you a bit more about it. I have only seen the samples, which I really liked. :D

Blessings,
Carrie
