Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share that we just started LHTH and our blog! I am excited to be on this journey and would be honored if you would go along side us and check out my blog. Please share ideas and encouragement throughout so we can all support one another through our homeschooling journeys!

I just added you to my 'following' list. I am new to blogging and just started about a week ago, but don't have much up yet. My blog is attached to my signature.

We are starting HOD in August for the first time. My youngest and I did some of day 1 of Bigger and we both loved it!! She can't wait to start. I asked her if she wanted to start school sooner, but she said, "I would love to start, but I want to enjoy a summer break first". What a ham she is!

Blessings!

Great! I'm following you now too. And yes, like you (from what you wrote on your blog) I am new to the whole blogging thing as well. And it does take a bit of time to figure it out!

I loved your blog! :D Your pics of your little ones doing LHTH are precious. May I please have you come design a learning room for me?!? You did a beautiful job!!! Oh my, I just loved everything about that room - bright colors, great organizational tools, painted magnetic walls (are they? I saw the letters and thought maybe so), cute little desks, good use of space - o.k., I'll stop. I don't really have a place to be able to do that, and as the kiddos have gotten older, we just use about our whole house to accomplish homeschooling, but that room of yours is incredible. Your dc are sure to love LHTH - it is such a joy to do with our little pumpkins! Thanks for sharing here! Be sure to link your blog on the weekly check-in each week too, as tons of ladies check that out each week, especially from Aug. to May. :D

Catherine, I love your blog! It's beautiful. I think I have seen it before...probably linked up with it through Tot School! Seems we are on similar schooling paths.I am definitely following your blog! Our oldests are both 4. And my youngest will soon be 2 as yours just turned. So I'll be following your tot school endeavors and quite possibly "steal" many of your ideas! I can't believe at 23mos she already knew her colors and was learning her alphabet! Hm...time to start working with my tot a bit more though! But eh, it will all come in time. She isn't as verbal as my son was so it will take some extra time. My son was saying his alphabet at 24mos. I can't imagine my daughter being able to do that in just a few months. She won't be. At that is totally okay! But I definitely forget about the things that I could be working on with her and teaching her. Now that I am more organized, all that should come. :-)

Julie, thanks for commenting! We do love our learning room! But I can't take credit for the design. I did share the blog link on my blog where I copied my room from...at least copied the colors, magnetic wall, and rain gutter bookshelves. I certainly did not have that creative design genius! :D

From my son, who really wants to click on the smiley faces (LOL):
