Phrases in dictation
In reading how to go about dictation again, I noticed that it says to" read 1 phrase at a time". I just wanted to know if I need to break up the long sentences into phrases or just give them 1 whole sentence at a time from "Capital to punctuation mark", no matter how long the sentence? We are doing dictation in Bigger (#59) at the moment, and have been doing great so far, but I noticed that the sentences are getting longer soon.

Re: Phrases in dictation
I break the longer sentences into phrases, just where it feels natural to do so. I also make the phrases longer according to my dc's ability, getting longer as they mature. For my oldest ones, I usually do the entire sentence even if it's long, since they are older and it makes it more challenging for them. I'm interested to hear what is the "right" way to do this though!
