We are new to HOD this year. My 7th grade daughter will be doing CTC with extensions. My plans right now are to do VideoText starting when she is in 8th grade. However, I would like a Pre-Algebra program for this year (7th) to do before she starts VideoText. I was thinking Chalkdust but now I'm not so sure...plus it's so expensive.
Here is her math background: Saxon Math through 2nd grade. BJU math 3rd-5th. For 6th grade she did TT but it seemed so easy that she doubled up and finished in one semester. I was concerned about her not getting what she needed in math so for 2nd semester she doubled up and finished Horizons 6.
I didn't think I would go back to TT but now I'm wondering if maybe this could be an answer for her to do TT Pre-Algebra and then go into VideoText in 8th. She would skip TT7.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this or what you have done!

At this point I think I am going with TT Pre-Algebra for 7th and then Video Text for 8th. If anyone has any input I would love to hear it.
