I started ds in the middle of the Emerging Readers and we'll finish it out this summer. We started with and are currently in the Nature Reader. Yesterday we were reading about the prairie, and one of the questions asked something like "What would you expect to see on the prairie?" or something like that. John (my ds) said, "But, Momma, I saw the prairie last year." We were able to go out west on vacation. Anyway, I told ds that the lady who wrote Beyond lived in South Dakota. He then asked me why we didn't visit her when we were there. I told him I didn't know about her then. He asked me if that were her picture on the manual and I told him that it was. He then said that he would like to come visit her. I asked him why and he said it was because he really liked Beyond Little Hearts. I will ask him to go get Beyond Little Hearts sometimes for me, so he's very familiar with the manual. We haven't even started Beyond yet, just the Emerging Readers. Just wait until we start Beyond, he will be so

Oh, and I've gotten the extra suggested books in the ER and I always tell my dc, this book was suggested by you.
My dd is now reading The Beginners Bible. I was going to wait to start her on the ER until the next school year, but she wanted her own book with questions to be answered.

She reads so well, so it doesn't hurt anything. She's doing very well, and never wants to stop when we are suppose to.
I just thought this was a testament to your great work, Carrie. I just wanted to share with you and thought it would be an encouragment.
