I keep coming back!

I told Julie I was going to stay off the message board for a while, but I can't help but keep coming back It does help to stay connected, but it is not helping me get my spring cleaning done I guess until dd is home for the summer, it won't hurt to pop in now and then I can be all prepared for 1st grade in August by the beginning of June I don't know if I've ever been this excited about homeschooling. I feel like I deprived my older kids although HOD wouldn't have been available then. I did have some good years homeschooling them I hope dd gets as excited about this as I am. Maybe not when she still has to sit down and do her written work I am anticipating a great year with LHFHG!

I check in frequently to get encouragement! I love reading others questions, just to see the answers and see where other folks are heading with HOD. I love LHFHG and am looking forward to RTR in the Fall and Beyond in the winter.

And we love to see you Pam! Computer time always gets scarce when the weather warms here, too. LOTS to do outside & inside - for work & play! I love the ladies here and am so glad to have this group of like-minded moms to chat with about homeschooling. I've received some excellent, godly advice here - sometimes when it wasn't even me asking for it!

Oh, I'm so glad that you feel drawn back! It is wonderful to get outside and to get a break from school, but we pray the board may continue to be a source of encouragement and Godly advice to those who get a chance to pop-in and read. I know it is for me! We pray that LHFGH may be a blessing to your little girl for her upcoming year too.

I too enjoy reading all the wonderful encouragment here as well. I just wish I were more familiar so I could offer encouragment and advice. I think it's great you keep coming back. I think it just helps keep us encouraged and excited about what the Lord has called us to do. Plus it's helped me understand and see what we have to look forward to with HOD.

Thanks for all the encouraging comments. I feel like those on this board are more my homeschool family than my local group. No one there is using HOD! So, I feel like I'm in another zone I'm trying to change that I've been disconnected from them since September, so, other than a personal friend, my only homeschool connection has been HOD ladies. I'm really grateful for the support.
