Cheerful Cursive? Switching from another program..

Post by juliej » Thu Jan 14, 2010 11:02 am

Ladies, MY DS10 has been using Handwriting for a Reason for a couple of years. The cursive just doesn't seem to be a good fit. If I switched to Cheerful Cursive, what level should I start with him?
Thank you!

I did not know there was more than one level but I started my three that have also done other handwriting with the version sold at HOD. I have it and use it for one of my children and I decided just best to start over. I am impressed with what it is doing for my dd so it seemed to make sense to just start from scratch even though they know cursive they need to learn again how to form the letters. We have not yet started it but just wanted to share what I decided. :D Hopefully others will have more wisdom.

Cheerful doesn't have a level. It starts out with lower case then moves to upper case. So you could start in that sense based on what you've already done.

We switched from another popular program to Cheerful and had no problems. Our ds's love the fun characters that teach the program. They can pretty much do it independently. I love the reading cursive component that i have not seen in any other program. Cheers for Cheerful Cursive. :D
