How long should DITHOR take for a child using 4/5 workbook ?
and also using Preparing. The times in the DITHOR manual seem so long.

playschool,
You are so right! We need to update those times and have thought of doing so with our next printing. I typed those times way back when I was coming out of the public school mentality of time, where everything took longer than it does at home.
For my 5th grader this year, for level 4-5, we typically spend 25-30 minutes on the lesson and another 15 min. or so on the reading. For my 8th grader, the time is almost the same in Level 6-7-8 this year, but he is a quick worker and reader, otherwise it would normally be 10-15 min. longer.
Blessings,
Carrie

We've found about the same times for Level 4/5 this year (around 20-30 minutes per lesson, and around 10-15 minutes for the reading) - probably a tad shorter than Carrie's times because my ds is a fourth grader and is reading easier books and probably shorter amounts than her ds.Carrie wrote:playschool,
