I am SO EXCITED!!! I finally ordered Beyond for my 7 year old. :) I'm looking forward to using this and starting LHTH with our 4 year old soon!!! :)

Yeah you are going to love it! :D We are really enjoying Beyond. My daughters peak ahead each day to see what the activity of the day is. They are loving it! I know you will too. :D

I just wanted to welcome you to the HOD Board! :D We're 2/3 of the way through Beyond and still looking forward to each day. We're doing LHTH half-speed and are 2 weeks in. My little guy begged for school yesterday (on Sunday). My dh thought that was a good stamp of approval! :lol: I think you'll love both programs.

Hi Julie and thanks for the welcome. :) I'm hoping the kiddos enjoy it. What we are using now isn't working out to well. I have to say I haven't had my children ask to do school on the weekends, so I think that has to mean something :D

We will also be doing Little Hands and part of Preparing, along with DITHR.

Hi! Just wanted to encourage you. I am doing Beyond & LHTH also. It is my first time homeschooling & these programs are amazing. This curriculum is so perfect for the kids & for busy moms. I had a rough start & a lot of opposition from my little angels so if that happens and you aren't feel'n it in the beginning, I just want to encourage you to hang in there & plod through. Of course, I am praying that this doesn't apply to you but just wanted to say hi & that you are in for a great time!!
When I was outside of the world of homeschooling, I have to say I did not understand it. Now that I am a few months in, I cannot IMAGINE that most parents miss the things I have been experiencing. I almost cry when I think about it. I went into this thinking first grade only. Now, I am scared that I want to do this for the long haul!!! Crazy how God works! :lol:
