It is basically Bible stories put to song with skip counting in them (2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s,...through 10s). Both of my kids (ages 6 & 3) can sing along with any song, so when we do the Count on Me, we start singing the song, and then he is able to get the blanks filled in. At 3, he doesn't totally understand the "skipping" concept, but my 6 yr old does. For her, we use a yardstick and her finger to jump the numbers when she's skip counting. The veteran mom also said that in her family, when they did the songs for pre-K and the younger elementary years, by the time they had to memorize the multiplication facts, they did it very quickly.
