Carrie or Julie...Science Extensions in Bigger?

Should my son be doing the questions at the end of the reading (written responses). I have, thus far, been having him do them. Then I realized that the guide doesn't indicate such.

I'm not Carrie or the Julie you're asking directly (although I am a Julie ) We did Bigger with extensions last year and since this was created for your older students to do independently I did ask my boys to answer the questions. It served an easy review & created self-lead independence in their school work. It took them maybe 15-20 minutes - tops - to do the reading and the review questions.

Julie did a great job of answering your question! We did have our own son answer the questions as well and found he got a lot out of them. It raised the expectations for science up to an extension pack level as well.

We have been doing the questions and it definitely helps my son understand the points of the reading. I just wante to make sure I was not having him do something that had been purposefully not assigned. I am a box checker...what can I say? LOL
