CTC extension package books

Post by mschackow » Wed Aug 05, 2009 8:12 am

I have been reading my children's extension books and I love them. :D I'm learning things that I never learned in school. I have never liked textbooks and my children don't like them. When I was in school I would read living books and that's how I passed history class. I'm going to read the all the CTC history books and science books. We will be doing the history interest read alouds. I'm looking forward to that too.

This is our first year doing HOD. I wish I had found HOD years ago. We are starting school Aug. 24. I can't wait. I think we will learn a lot more and have a lot more fun. :D I realy like the Bible study. HOD will save me money too. I will only need to replace workbooks and notebook pages. I have wasted a lot of money over the years on curriculum but, no more.

I have six children so far. :D
CTC with extensions for 12 and 14 year olds
BLHFHG with 8 year old
LHTH with 3 year old and 6 year old that has Down syndrome
I also have a 3 month old with Down syndrome

Blessings,
Michelle

Michelle,

I fully agree with you that the Extension Pack books are fascinating reading, even for an adult. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them when deciding what to include in our packages for CTC! My oldest son loved reading them last year too. :D

We pray CTC will be a blessing to your family this year. Happy reading!

Blessings,
Carrie
