Scheduling ideas...

Post by cdrx4 » Sun Jul 26, 2009 7:08 am

We are starting BHFHG and LHFHG in a couple of weeks and I am working on a schedule. I am a little nervous about doing 2 separate curriculums, and need some scheduling advice. For those of you who have done these 2 programs in the past or present tell me how it worked for your family? I would like to start around 9 in the am and hopefully end around 1 with a few short breaks in between if possible and leave the afternoons open to field trips and play dates, etc....But what does one child do when you are working with the other? My oldest who is 9 can do some independent work with Math and Language and Reading. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks so much!

Hi cdrx4!
Have you checked out this post by Carrie?

You should be able to get some ideas from her post and from the other 5 pages of ideas on this same thread!
Wishing you the best,
Dorla

Good morning! We did BHFHG and half-speed LHFHG a few years back. Here's a link where I posted what we did:
