New with a / about Preparing and the Deluxe Pkg

Well, we received our Preparing Pkg yesterday! We are so excited as first time users of HOD. I bought my books at the homeschool conference in NC. I believe that I asked at least a hundred questions of Julie and Carrie--they were so patient with me!

I was looking through the guide today and realized that the Draw and Write Through History was not in my pkg because I didn't purchase the Deluxe pkg. I believe I really want to do this part. So, my question is: if I want to do that book, do I need to order the rest of the books in that pkg. and how does it tie in with Preparing? Hope that makes sense! My son was amazed and excited after seeing all the books!

I have Preparing too for the new year and I bought the deluxe package because it's for the independant part of the guide.

Welcome! You are gonna LOVE Preparing! We will be doing our last week of it this Monday & we enjoyed ALL of it! Yes, you are right that you don't want to miss Draw & Write Through History. It is fabulous! You don't need any of the other books if you don' have them. They are scheduled on the bottom left side of the plans. I do highly recommend them if you can get them at your library. We loved Noah's Ark, Noah's Flood--The 5,000 Year Old Puzzle--Little Miriam of Galiee--Mozart The Wonder Boy--The Little Riders--The Trojan Horse. I got most of them from my library but I will purchase them when I can.
