Any input on Happy Handwriting?

Post by moedertje » Tue May 26, 2009 12:07 pm

I noticed that the same company that puts out "Cheerful Cursive" also has manuscript named "Happy Handwriting". I was wondering if anyone has used it and if you would recommend it? We used "Italics" with my first one and are going to use "Cheerful Cursive" this coming year. I was thinking if we started with the same company if the transition would be easier?

I'd love to know more about Happy Handwriting, too. We are considering options for my K/1st grader.

I don't know about Happy Handwriting, but I will say we do "A Reason for Handwriting K and A", and my ds transitioned beautifully into Cheerful Cursive when he did Bigger Hearts. In PHFHG this past year, he wrote in cursive very well, and we didn't do anything after Cheerful Cursive. I just wanted to say that I don't think you need a certain program to go into Cheerful Cursive. :D
