Accused of Being "Sales People" for HOD : )

I am on a Homeschool Review Yahoo Group. It is a group for HS parents and not distributors. There are several HOD users on the list. We LOVE our curriculum so much and are so vocal about it, people are starting to ask us if we distribute it!

To me, that is the mark of a great HS curriculum!!

I would sell it if I could!

I know what you mean! I've had several people ask me if I make a commission. I can't say enough good about HOD and anytime anyone wants advice on curriculum, HOD is where I send them. I'd say so far, if they made a purchase at all, most of them have actually purchased HOD. If I made commission, I'd have earned all of a guide by now...plus the extensions! LOL

Even when it gets tough, HOD is still THE curriculum for us.

I have an umbrella school and out of 15 families, 9 of the families are using at least one component from HOD ( either DITHOR or another guide or both) This is not planned or a requirement, it has just happened b/c the curriculum is great. A mom tries it loves it and recommends it to another. Thanks Carrie!!!!!! We really would love for you to come see us in Florida

I know, I haven't even ordered yet for next year, but I'm so excited and keep telling my friends about it. Several of them are planning to use HOD next year, and one told me last night at church that she'd already ordered!

LOL. I've already had 4 different homeschool families over to my house to see my HOD stuff. I felt like it was show n tell. Its fun to get the word out about what you love.

What a blessing this thread has been this morning! That's so great to hear, ladies! We pray all of the time that the Lord will raise up a band of Christian ladies to share HOD with others, and the Lord is so faithful. You are literally an answer to prayer!

I too have shared my experience with many people. Last year at the conference, I talked 2 people into buying it. And, in my homeschool group, several have switched after coming over to see my guides and books. Most people are just so excited to find a program that's first of all: Christ-centered learning and secondly: great in education skills. No commission for me either, but it doesn't keep me from talking about it. How can you not give God the glory for a program helping orient your family around Him?

Oh, Ladies! You are each so gracious to share HOD with others. We completely trust the Lord to bring those to HOD that He knows would benefit from it in their lives. He is so faithful, and we are thankful to each of you that He uses to servant-heartedly share HOD with others.

This thread was a blessing to me today as we're busy writing, writing, writing.

LOL I haven't even STARTED using HOD yet (expect for one unit of LHTH) and today at parkday was referring a girl to the website and raving about how wonderful it looks..lol.

Next month for Moms night out they are having a "curriculum share". I won't have my HOD manual yet but I am bringing the sample week of CTC and my catalog to share!

I boast about HOD to anyone who will listen. I secretly feel so sorry for those who have lost their way and are using some other program. Lol!
