optional literature for LHFHG
I wanted to order some of the books listed in the appendix in Little Hearts, but was curious as to which ones were the "best" ones. I'm sure they are all good, but does anyone have any favorites i can consider when making my list?
Wife to my wonderful husband for 8 years
dd5 - LHFHG, Abeka phonics, Horizons math
dd3 - LHTH
dd1 - bringing me Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? and sitting in my lap

Re: optional literature for LHFHG
mommyofgirls,
We used the optional literature supplements with one of our sons and none of them with our next son in line and both times found LHFHG worked great!
So, I wouldn't spend a lot of money purchasing the optional resources in the Appendix. If you do desire to use the optional supplements and have a good church library for the opening units and a good public library for the later units you will be set!
Blessings,
Carrie

Like Carrie said, we were able to get some of these books at the library. The only one I ordered for our home library was the Egermeier Story Bible, we really like this one.
