The samples look very well done. I'm just not sure how it would fit into the schedule. We'll be using Bigger with our 9yo and CTC with our 12yo.

I am wondering this too. I'm thinking of adding this in for 6th grade dd next year.

Angela,
When we did it, we just scheduled the lessons one day a week. We did it on our 5th day with my oldest son, as we were on the 4 day plan for piloting Preparing and CTC with him those years.
There are 24 sessions in the first Igniting Your Writing book, and some of the lessons we stretched out over 2 sessions (weeks). Most we completed in one session. We allotted 30 min. in our schedule, and my son read and followed the directions independently. When he handed it in, I went over the Teacher's Notes in the back of the guide for that particular lesson, so I knew what I was looking for in the assignment. Then, I had my son read it to me, and we discussed what he'd done well and what he could add or change.
Blessings,
Carrie

Thank you for the detailed reply Carrie! That makes it sound very doable.Carrie wrote:Angela,
