What is everyone doing tonight?

Post by 1GirlTwinBoys » Fri Mar 27, 2009 6:02 pm

Me and my kid's made soup & sandwich for dinner and watched Leave It To Beaver episodes. Normally I don't allow any t.v. or video during dinner but since DH was out of town this afternoon and it's Friday night, we decided to shake things up a little. :D

Anyone else have exciting plans tonight or this weekend?

Sounds like a fun evening. :D Grandma just came to visit here, so my kiddos are beside themselves with excitement. She will be staying for a week. It has been 2 months since my kids last saw her.

DH is on a kick to expose the kids to the great Jerry Lewis movies, so tonight was "The Errand Boy" and tacos for dinner. They laughed their heads off!

Friday night is typically movie night with a rented movie from Netflix or the library, and homemade pizza. I am giving my hips a break from the pizza this weekend.

:P I LOVE those old movies.

Back before I was married, I worked at UPS and would get home around 3am and watch old shows on Nick At Night. I really miss watching them...

We're doing laundry and packing to visit my parents for a few days. Ahhh, it's nice to go 5 hours south in the springtime and get warmer weather for a few days. But then we have to come home again... At least it's nice in Michigan finally, I'm hoping the snow is over.

I went out with some girls from church to a resturant downtown for appetizers. Never gone out with them before, so that was nice.

We had opening night of our big Easter Musical at church. We do 9 performances over 3 weekends an around 9,000 people come to see it. There is a cast of about 100 people and it is a drama that acts out the life of Christ. All four of us are in it and although it is a big commitment and a lot of work it is worth it to see people come to Christ because of it.
