Melanie - look here!

Post by my3sons » Mon Feb 04, 2008 3:51 pm

Hi Melanie! I vaguely remember reading about some checkoff type list that you suggested for house upkeep things. I think it was a different one than flylady? Could you give me that link?

I think you might mean Motivated Moms? I just got it a little over a week ago, and I LOVE it! I got the full-size daily planner with daily scripture reading schedule. www.motivatedmoms.com You purchase online and they send you a link to download your planner-then you print off the pages as you need them. I put mine in a pretty blue binder :D

Thank you! YES! That's what I was looking for! O.k. - time to flit over to that site and check it out! I like the visual of a pretty blue binder... it makes me want to start it right away!

LOL! I just like the color blue-my binder is small-I probably won't be able to fit a whole year in it of the per-day planner, but that's ok, I only print off a few days at a time, it's less overwhelming for me that way. My binder is sky blue clear plastic with a dragonfly in the lower right corner-I had it lying around-I think I got it at a dollar store, because it was pretty, and never had a use for it until now :D

I'm on my second day of Motivated Moms, and I really like it! There are many things I realize I have not done for awhile - like wash our shower curtains. Just hadn't thought of it for awhile - hopefully they got clean from the mist in the shower before, right? We haven't lived in this house very long... honestly! Anyway, thanks everybody, and I'm still a bit envious of the dragonfly binder!

I looked too! Yesterday I did print out part of the free 2002 sample. I think I did Feb and part of March. I figure if it works its worth spending the $8 for a current schedule and if it doesn't what have I lost.

Just being nosey I guess

Girls...girls...girls... how can this be nosey? Look until your heart's content... I just couldn't remember what thread Motivated Moms was part of, but I did remember Melanie's mentioning it. Next time, I am going to write something truly juicy and see if you gals check it out... mmmm... o.k., my life is NOT juicy. Can't think of anything yet... but just wait!

I'm a fly lady drop out, maybe doing this type of check list will work. I plan on printing out a weeks worth from '02 and give it a try.
