Found HOD- question about how long to use?

If you were to use the 5-7 y/o book with a 5 y/o, what would you do with that child next year when he's 6? Re-use the same book??

Some people repeat Little Hearts using the 1st grade options, work at half speed through the guide over 2 years using the K options one year and 1st the next, or just continue on to the next guide, Beyond Little Hearts. The guides are written to be used over 1 year, but there are several options available.
KL - Rev2Rev, DITHOR
E - PHFHG, DITHOR
MG - BHFHG
L - making messes and smiles

Welcome the HOD board!! I'm using this guide with my 5yr old and we're loving it.
Typically each guide is written to be used once. So you would go to the next guide, Beyond for 6-8 , once you finished LHFHG. I've heard that the guides do a great job of building on each other. Each guide prepares the child well for the following guide. As 3ring circus mentioned, there is a great amount of flexibility to the programs.
Enjoy!! I'm sure you will :)

After finishing LHFHG once, you'd just head on into Beyond. :D

Blessings,
