?? about the PHFHG extension package

Do the older dc (in 5th and 6th grade) read the extension package as well as the Deluxe History readers? I thought for some reason I read that they do read both, but then something I read in another person's post seem to make me think otherwise.

the older dc don't have to read the deluxe....just the extension. We are doing PHFHG & we read both. :D
the deluxe is sooo good!
