Preparing Hearts Question...

Post by butterfly113 » Wed Feb 11, 2009 7:13 am

I am planning on using HOD's Preparing Hearts next year and am wondering a few things. My ds9 does best when he does math earlier in the mornings, then the language arts. Would it be ok to do the Bible portion first, then do the core subjects, and then the rest... history, read alouds, science etc... ? In a nut shell... does it matter which order things are done?
TIA

I think you could easily start with math and not interfere with the great flow of PHFHG. (We're doing it now and loving it, BTW. :D ). We do try to do all of the left side of "Learning Through History" all together though, the connections are just great and I want to be sure he gets them. The right side of the plans "Learning the Basics" can be interspersed before and after the history side of plans. But that's just the way we happen to enjoy doing it - you may find a totally different rhythm works for your family! Welcome to the board, BTW! We're so glad you are here!
