A Note from my 6 Year Old Son

Post by Patience » Wed Jan 28, 2009 7:11 pm

Tonight my 6 year old son, Joshua, was asking me what I was doing. I showed him the message board and we read some of the posts together. I thought he might enjoy posting and putting some smiley faces on. He wrote this note to say how much he likes our new curriculum. Here it goes:

Go Heart of Dakota! When we were using our old curriculum, bible wasn't fun at all! But now it's actually like playing a game! It's the most fun thing in the world! And science is also as fun as a game! With the jumping coin experiment, it actually really worked! When we put hotter water in it, the coin jumped really fast! And after that, I played "Sunken Treasure" with little paper boats and a piece of crayon for the treasure. :P I really like that my mom is reading more to me now. Thanks for making school more fun for me. Go Heart of Dakota! :D :) :P :D :) :P 8) It's time for me to go to bed! Bye!

Joshua - I'm so glad that you're liking school! And, I'm glad that your Mommy gets to read to you more. That's one of my favorite things to do with my kids! Your experiment sounded like fun. My kids will love that one when we get to do it sometime.

Joshua,

I'm just getting a chance to read your post now, but I wanted to let you know how glad I am that you are enjoying your school day. :D You are so blessed to have a mom that loves you so much that she works really hard to make sure you enjoy your school and learn to love the Lord.

As we're writing our guides, we pray for the kiddos who will be using them. So, we've already prayed for you! We hope you enjoy the rest of your year with Heart of Dakota. :D

Thanks for sharing with us!

Blessings,
Carrie
