We are loving LHTH!

DS and I absolutely love LHTH! He is learning so much! Normally, when DH comes home from work, Samuel will spend a little while telling him about what we did that day. Yesterday, he pulled out his Bible and made Daddy sit so Samuel could "read" to him. We had taken a big break over the holidays and just started back this week. Samuel started at the beginning of his Bible and went all the way to the story we did yesterday about Joshua becoming the leader of Israel (over 50 stories!) He summarized each one perfectly and DH would ask him questions and Samuel was able to answer all of them correctly - even stuff I was suprised he remembered! DH has always been a little skeptical about homeschooling and I've had a hard time getting him to understand why I feel so passionately about it, but last night I think he finally understood. He was so impressed with what Samuel is learning and is just as excited as I am about HOD now. Thank you Carrie for such a wonderful program!

That is wonderful! I love that he told his dad all about everything. I'm new and I'm about to begin this program with my (almost) three year old daughter.

I am praising the Lord for little Samuel's precious sharing with his daddy. There is no better thing we could ask for than for the little ones to share their love of learning with the ones most special to them.

I've seen so many daddies won over by their sweet children to the call of homeschooling. Thanks for sharing!
