Had to say I am so Thankful for HOD!!

Post by happyhomeschooling » Wed Nov 26, 2008 9:44 am

I just had to say on my list of things I am "Thankful" for is Hod! I was working in the kitchen this morning
getting somethings ready for our Thansgiving feast, and although we have taken this week off, I thought
how great that after the holidays, we get to go back to our "beloved curriculum"! I know I speak for everyone
here when I say "Carrie we are so greatful to the Lord for instilling you with the gift of all you do and have
given to us with Hod', I am equally thankful to all of the "Hodies" here who are always so willing to help and
lend a hand to those of us in need of encouragement and wisdom. Just wanted to say Thank you to Carrie
and everyone on this board for all that you do :D
Have a blessed Thanksgiving everyone,
Sincerly, Lesley (a very happy thankful hodie!!)

Lesley,

Those are wonderful sentiments and I whole-heartedly agree with all that you said!
I love how HOD is more than a great homeschooling curriculum...it really is a part of our lives. It so perfectly supports how I want to influence and interact with my children in a godly way. What a wonderful gift, Carrie has been so blessed in her ablities to create such an incredible God honoring program, and we are so blessed to share in it. Definitely something to be thankful for!

Happy Hodie Thanksgiving! :D

Ladies,

I am glowing with the sentiments you've shared. Thanks so much for blessing me today! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I, for one, ate WAY too much (as my mother did the cooking and baking and baking and baking)!!

Blessings,
Carrie

I agree wholeheartedly! I was just thinking how I am happy about getting back to school tomorrow, and that I enjoy our days homeschooling so much. In fact, my middle ds said, "Well, what do we have that's fun going on this week?"
My oldest ds promptly said, "We get to start school again!"
My middle ds said, "Ohhhh, that's right!"

We only took a day and a half off during Thanksgiving week. So, I didn't even think they'd have time to "miss it" yet - but they did!

Thanks so much for this post - another thing I am truly thankful for is the kind and encouraging Christian moms on this board! :D

I completely agree. In the midst of trials and chaos, HOD has been such a constant blessing. And it is wonderful to know that your searching is over isn't it! Thanks for sharing. I love to see happy moms loving what they are doing with their children. :D
