update on prayer request

A few months ago I had requested prayer for my 3yr old daughter. She was diagnosed with apraxia and some processing problems. We have had her in speech and ot with good results. She was tested for fragile x andthat came back negative. We took her for a healing service last week and she is really starting to show improvement. Just a few months ago she had a hard time saying juice, she now will tell me I want juice in a cup. We were also concerned because we did not know how much she understood of what we were saying, but since the healing service she will put her hands over her ears when we tell her something she does not want to hear, so now we know she does understand. I just want to say thank you for the prayers.

Oh April, that is certainly good news! She sounds like a smart little cookie. Only God can make it a blessing when we see our children with their hands over their ears when we're talking to them! That's the way I felt when my son had speech for 2 years, and finally spoke by pushing me away when I was hugging him and saying "Too much, Mama!" Under usual circumstances, those words would have made me a bit sad, but God turned those words into a blessing for me because I was finally hearing my ds talk! (And too bad ds - I'm a natural born hugger! ) May God continue to bless you and your dd with milestones to remember!
