We had a great day today, my 8yo got done with bigger in about 4 hours, best we've done so far, he may be turning a corner with the rebellion I hope.
Then I realized after he went to bed tonight, we forgot to do Grammar.
Well, at any rate, he now knows he can do it quicker if he wants to, so hopefully, he'll start doing that on a regular basis.

YAY for you! Hope tomorrow goes just as great! And hey, who needs grammar anyway! I don't think nobody really needs it!

Isn't Bigger the best program to work through attitude problems. All that character training in there really helps. Well that and mom's hard work, hahaha! So happy you had a turn around great day! Yeah!

Oh, I laughed so hard! I have done that very thing! We will have had so much FUN doing our project and it seemed to have gone so quickly and then I'll remember that we forgot grammar or spelling or math

Seriously, it sounds like it's going GREAT! Woo Hoo!

OK, so now we've had two good days! HOORAY! And I may have a hook. My son likes to quilt, so I've let him know that if he can get his work done in a reasonable amount of time each day, we'll have to time to work on a quilt for next year's quilt show. Think he'll bite?

Sure thing, come quilt with us! We are learning on doll sized quilts, but I want to try a bigger one, this is the one I want to try:

Thanks Carrie! It was the best two days we've had in a long time. Today wasn't quite as good, but still much better than before. I let him listen to his mp3 player while he did all his seat work, he liked that. We'll try that again, but he didn't want to take it off to do the readings.
Thanks for the wonderful program Carrie! I know after he settles in, he's gonna love it.

Oh, Lee Ann, that's beautiful!! I'm pretty sure I'm not at that level yet.

I want to start by making one of those denimn/flannel block quilts (that you really don't quilt but just sew straight lines

). We'll see how that goes.
