Did you put your DD9 who did CTC before back in it?

Yes and she just picked up where she left off! I think the break from CTC was great for her, she needed those few months to mature. Another day of doing these guides and I’m so happy. Every one is placed just right, except for possibly my daughter in beyond. It will take her time to adjust to the writing.

Glad to hear it's all working out! And I think that's ok for your daughter doing Beyond, she will grow into it. Will you use Copy the Classics? I would highly recommend it. I wish it had come out earlier so we could have used it all last year.

I wish I could try it but I think she will just do a composition notebook.

We are down to only two high schoolers this year, with my older one graduating in May. ;)

This year our 12th grader is doing US History 2, and our 10th grader is doing World History.

The days are long, but the years are short, Mama's! ❤

Yes, they are! ❤️

My oldest graduates this December. The years have flown by and are short. It seems like yesterday that I had 3 kids under age 4 and was choosing to home school.

Hi everyone!
I have a 8 yr old finishing up Beyond. We plan to be done by Christmas. He has some learning challenges so we've been taking it slow.

I have my 4 yr old in LHTH.

Well, I am very late to this Roll Call, but I still enjoyed reading this thread immensely! I am down to ONE. How did that happen?!? Emmett is an 11th grader and is currently (as in today) on US1's Unit 8, Day 3. We are really especially enjoying our time together going through the American Lit follow-ups, the LL Double-Entry journal assignments, Everyday Battles devotional discussions, and the USI books/follow-ups. I really love hearing Emmett's oral narrations, and the highlighted written narrations are a favorite of mine (due to the organization skills being taught).

I am thankful he is learning about Government and Constitutional Literacy this year - so important. He is not a big fan of Foreign Language - Spanish (had Speech therapy as a little guy), but he is doing remarkably well with it. I am glad he's keeping a prayer journal for Bible, and I like the New Testament study he is doing. Math has never been Emmett's favorite subject, but he is doing well with online instructor Michael on Math Help. We keep moving through grammar, and while it is not his best subject, I am thankful for all it teaches!

My oldest son, Wyatt, graduated from college with a Business Finance degree and is now in sales full-time. My middle son, Riley, is a junior in college pursuing a degree in Information Assurance: Cybersecurity. Both are enjoying their lives immensely! My, how time flies!!!

In Christ,
Julie
