BEYOND ? Shortening

Does anyone remember if you needed shortening often in beyond? It for a science experiment and wondering if it pops up a lot or if I should just skip. I don’t use shortening at all.. thanks!

I think it is used once. You could use something else like butter or coconut oil I think for that experiment.
